David W. Owen
David Owen is the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Wells Fargo. The CAO team provides a broad range of support, managerial, and administrative services to Wells Fargo’s customers, clients, and employees around the world. The CAO organization includes Business Resiliency, Corporate Properties, Corporate Security, Data Management & Insights, Enterprise Change Management, and Supply Chain/Third Party Oversight.
A financial services professional with over two decades of experience, Owen assumed his role as Chief Administrative Officer in June 2020. He joined the company from JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he was head of Digital for JPMorgan’s Wholesale businesses. Prior to that, he was the Chief Administrative Officer of JPMorgan Chase, where he was responsible for JPMorgan’s Global Service Centers (India and the Philippines), Global Operations, and Corporate Services (including Global Security & Investigations, Real Estate, and Supply Chain Management/Third Party Oversight.) He also served as the Chief Financial Officer of JPMorgan Chase’s Consumer & Community Bank, which encompasses Consumer Banking, Home Lending, Card Services, Auto Finance, Business Banking, and Chase Wealth Management. His experience also includes leadership roles at Bank of America and Booz Allen Hamilton. Owen served in the U.S. Army Reserves and is a graduate of the U.S. Army’s Airborne school.
Owen serves on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Greater New York and the Institute for Veterans and Military Families.
